Bowenwork is an effective soft tissue hands on technique. A series of moves over ligaments, tendons and muscles reset tension patterns stimulating your body to activate it’s own healing process. It is relaxing by nature as it affects the autonomic nervous system. Bowen improves circulation, drains lymph glands and has a positive affect on internal organs. It can address a multitude of conditions including but not limited to: back and neck pain; sports injuries; reflux in both babies and adults; respiratory issues such as asthma; GI distress and post operative recovery.

Bowenwork was developed in Geelong, Australia by the late Tom Bowen in the 1950s and 1960s. Ozzie Rentsch, one of Tom’s students took Tom’s work to the world in the 1980s and it is now practised in over thirty countries.
